Escape from Syria

It is such a joy to write this beautiful column every month. For February’s edition of BBC Good Food magazine, I spoke to Imad Alarnab of Imad’s Syrian Kitchen in London, and amputee Dima Alta about their separate escapes from Syria. The delicious and beloved cuisine of their homeland sparked lifelong friendship here in the U.K., and amazing charity projects.
